This 9-month intensive course is designed for both the aspiring as well as the experienced kindergarten teacher. The course covers every aspect needed for a teacher to function effectively in a preschool environment. During the course, the student will be required to take up project work and hands-on assignments and guidance workshops will also be conducted. The student will also be exposed to the Montessori Method and will be offered an international certification upon completion of an online exam conducted by FICS (UK) at the end of the course.

This is a 6-month course designed for teachers who have already completed their Nursery Teacher's Training and are looking at getting certified and trained to teach the Montessori System. Practical workshops are conducted during the course to help the student gain confidence in the practical exercises and use of equipment/material which are fundamental to the Montessori Method.

The FICS online exam will be a 2-hour, objective type exam which will have 100 questions in total with each subject (Montessori Theory and Child PsychologyExercises of Practical LifeSensorial EducationLanguage and Vocabulary, Arithmetic (Arithmetic I and Arithmetic II will be combined and given as 1 subject) ) contributing 20 questions each. Internal marks will be added to the student's marks at the time of the examination and the student will be required to score at least 50% in EVERY subject to pass the certification exam. Scoring below 50% in even one subject will lead to the student failing the certification. The student is required to think carefully before selecting the answer since once the question has been answered and the next question appears, the student cannot go back to correct the previous answer chosen.

This preparatory exam must be undertaken by students who have prepared for their FICS Certification before taking up the main examination. Built along the same format as the certification exam, this quiz will give the student a fairly accurate indication of their preparedness for the main examination.
